This lunch & learn will discuss potential intellectual property issues and practical methods for protecting IP with regard to 3D-printing and these other emerging technologies. The discussion will be particularly focused on how entrepreneurs are currently using emerging technologies to enhance their business, the potential legal issues that may exist, and the strategies that can be used to protect IP.

About the Speakers

Bryan Stewart

Bryan D. Stewart is an associate in Morris, Manning & Martin’s Intellectual Property Practice and is a registered patent attorney. He practices in all areas of intellectual property law, including patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, copyright and trade secret. He has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, and often works with start-up businesses to develop business plans, IP strategies and procedures, and manage portfolios.

Ben Warlick

Benjamin J. Warlick is an associate in Morris, Manning & Martin’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice and is a registered patent attorney. His particular emphasis is on patent infringement litigation, and he has experience litigating cases involving analog and digital integrated circuits, wireless technologies, computer systems and software, Internet-related technologies, and mechanical devices. He also has experience in trademark and copyright litigation.
