Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP Launches MMM Angel Network

Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP has launched the MMM Angel Network – connecting angel and early-stage investors with emerging technology companies. As a leading law firm in the U.S. active in the entrepreneurial community, startups and early-stage companies continue to be a significant focus for the firm. MMM has long played an integral role in supporting the growth and development of growing technology companies in Atlanta and across the country.

The mission of the Network is to help connect angel and early-stage investors with emerging technologies, innovative business models and deal flow by making introductions to startups and early-stage companies. The Network will provide its members with a platform to connect with investment professionals or investment opportunities; share ideas and best practices; learn from investment discussions; and explore successful approaches to product launches and raising capital. MMM Senior Associate Christopher E. Maxwell will provide administrative direction for the group.

“This has been part of our business model from the beginning,” offered John C. Yates, Chair of MMM’s Technology Practice. “Connecting innovative companies with sources of capital and providing them with a path to success is just smart business. We have just taken the step of formalizing our efforts.”
